The second most important species was dolphinfish (Coryphaena hippurus) which comprised 22% of the total annual landings.
Recent years have seen a larger share of other resources including giant squid/pota (Dosidicus gigas) and dolphinfish (dorado/perico) (Coryphaena hippurus).
